Summary:

The Indonesia Australia Language Foundation is the only NEAS Accredited language training organisation in Indonesia and we are currently recruiting enthusiastic and experienced language instructors for our Surabaya branch.

IALF Surabaya is the IELTS Test Centre for East Java and all teachers with the minimum professional requirements are provided with free IELTS examiner training.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

•  Degree (preferably in English
• CELTA or Trinity (Cert) TESOL
• At least 2 years relevant experience (EAP and business preferred)with excellent references
• High level of computer literacy - Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
• Experience with IELTS an advantage

The IALF Surabaya is the IELTS Test Centre for East Java andpecialises in EAP and pre-departure skills for public and donor-funded students, IELTS Preparation and Business English.

Students are of high school age and above and are highly-motivated, as most are preparing either for study overseas or for career development.The school was initially set up in 1997 as an IELTS Testing Centre and the third IALF branch in Indonesia. We are now keen to recruit enthusiastic and experienced language instructors ideally with academic English (EAP) and general & business English experience.IELTS and teacher training experience desirable.

  

Compensation:Contracts are for one year with an initial probationary period of 3 months

• Starting salaries range from Rp.145,200,000 to Rp.187,200,000 per annum (Approx USD.16,000 - USD.21,000) This figure is nett: IALF will be responsible for the payment of Indonesian Income tax incurred in the salary and benefits of the employee
• Transport Allowance of Rp.500,000 per monthAfter one year’s service, and based on an annual appraisal, you will be eligible for an increment of Rp.8,400,000
• Expacare Medical Insurance, including hospitalization and medical evacuation
• Sponsorship for a KITAS visa, valid for one year and extendable, and MERP (Multiple Entry Re-entry Visa), valid for 1 year and extendable
• Leave Fares Assistance: USD.1500 will be paid on completion of each 1 year of continuous full-time employment
• Annual Leave - 30 paid working days per annum, plus Indonesian public holidays.
• Sick Leave - Up to 15 days paid sick leave per annum
• On-arrival accommodation allowance of Rp.3,000,000
• Flights and visa expenses reimbursed after successful completion of probationary period.
