EF operates 35 schools across Russia. The academic year in Russia operates from September to May so recruitment for ESL jobs in Russia aligns with an August/September start. If you prefer to start teaching at a different time, please consider applying for a position in China or Indonesia instead, where recruitment is year-round.
Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in teaching, education and developing yourself
- Openmindedness, an adventurous spirit, and flexibility
- Bachelors degree
- Native English speaker
- Passport issued by the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand
- Willingness to engage with students outside class and share your native culture
- Some teaching experience preferred
- TEFL certificate preferred
Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering lessons to both adults and children for up to 28 teaching hours per week.
- Using electronic media and EF-developed courseware to teach English efficiently and effectively
- Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement
- Maintaining regular office hours
- Participating in extra-curriculuar activities with students such as sports matches, young learner holiday camps, and film nights
