English Language Native Speakers for Early Grades to teach in Bilingual Program in Turkey
The largest private school chain, Bahçeşehir K-12 Schools, is seeking qualified Early Childhood and Early Grades teachers to teach in the early years’ bilingual program aiming to develop learners’ English language skills and at the same time helping them to become inquiring, independent and respectful learners with global values and perspectives.
Qualities and Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A global citizen with interest and respect for Turkish culture and values
- A strong, self-confident teacher leader who inspires by example
- A team-oriented work ethic and collaboration skills
- An understanding of technology and its use to enhance teaching and learning
- Experience working with children (ages 4-10)
- A 4-year degree in early childhood education or classroom teaching or English
- a TEFL/TESOL certificate (i.e.: CELTA, Trinity College, International House etc. teaching certificates) *required by the Ministry of Education if university degree is not a BA in English
- Bilingual/multilingual skills or experience teaching EAL learners
