Teacher Trainer Position in Singapore
Teacher Trainer
We are recruiting for a Teacher Trainer to join a centre in Singapore starting in July 2013. This is a fabulous 2 year contract that offers great scope for career development. You will be based at the main centre in Singapore but will need to be capable of working across four centres in the area. You will need to be an experienced CELTA Main Course Tutor and prepared to commit to a 2 year contract.
The role:
• To plan, prepare and deliver high quality English language teaching/teacher training that meets the needs of different customer groups,
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback,
• Contribute to the development, evaluation and improvement of teacher training/English language courses, materials and related services.
• The successful candidate will also be expected to actively engage in professional development and performance management to ensure quality and high standards in teaching and learning.
Essential Criteria:
To apply for the positions you MUST meet the client’s following requirements:
• High proficiency in English (IELTS 8/9 across all 4 skills if not Native level)
• Undergraduate degree
• Both the Cambridge CELTA and DELTA qualifications (full DELTA’s only)
• PGCE preferable
• 4 Years’ teaching/training experience, which need to be POST DELTA
• CELTA Main Course Tutor status
Package:
• Basic salary from S$5,359 – S$ 7,360 per month depending on qualifications and experience.
• Flights provided
• Baggage and settling-in allowances
• Medical allowance
• 35 days leave allowance per year
