Our client is looking for a registered Australian Teacher to work for a minimum of 12 months. Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Education for this post plus at least 2 years experience. TESOL/ESL experience and qualifications are also an advantage. Single applicants only due to the accommodation.
In response to the demand for quality English language high school programs in non- English speaking countries, the Offshore Year 10 Curriculum is being made available to Chinese and Korean educational institutions. Currently the program runs in Shandong and Jiangsu provinces in China and Seoul in Korea, with other countries expected to come on line in the near future.
The program is aimed at students whose goal it is to study abroad. The purpose of the program is to make the transition into the Australian education system easier for students by delivering the course in China and Korea with intensive English language support. The language of instruction is English. The curriculum focuses on raising students’ English language levels in the context of English, Mathematics, Science and SOSE.
Offshore clients are usually private or public schools or colleges who wish to offer their students a pathway into Australian schools (and then universities).
